Really not sure how anyone can blame Israel for this action tbh. Let's not conflate it with the Palestinian situation. Iran have been attacking them for years via proxies and deny their right to exist so it's hardly surprising. I come down on the Palestine side generally in that conflict but think Israel are well within their rights to try and neutralise the Iran threat and basically every other country would do the same.
This week' Irony & Lack of Self Awareness award goes to Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz ... the Iranian retaliation he says has "crossed a red line"... by, guess what... "targeting civilian areas"... Be funny if it wasn't all so serious and depressing ... gonna be many more dead civilians in every country involved before the mad men call time ...
The problem is and one that you clearly fail to see is Iran intend on arming themselves with nuclear weapons regardless of people's views. Israel took six scientists out for a reason, before they even engaged further with military action. Your harted of Israel is so deep you just fail to see it. I say do the future a favour before it is too late, we've already seen Iran's intentions during the last two years, so **** em, take out as much military installation as possible while you can.
There is quite a big difference between blindly lobbing what you can at civilians at random and taking out multiple people you claim to be defending along the way and taking out terrorists who continue to insist on keeping your citizens hostage and civilians they’ve chosen to put there dying. The Houthi geniuses managed to injure five Palestinian children hitting an entirely Palestinian village. Hamas killed a bunch of Palestinians aid workers for being part of a successful aid effort they couldn’t skim off. These are not comparable situations unless you’re a closet Hamas fan smugly crowing from the shires.
Perhaps unexpectedly, I agree, in principle with everything you are saying - the only cynicism I have is in regard to the timing of the Israeli action... without it the US would have been meeting with Iran this week to discuss Iran's compliance, or lack of it, with International directives on 'nuclear developments' I.e. staying well within the boundaries of acceptable nuclear power advances... that might have given more insight and unequivocal International support for what Israel has now done - instead it is happening from 'Israeli intelligence' ... anyone remember how the 'weapons of mass destruction' turned out? Trump is now doing the 'Big I am' rhetoric, partly to salvage his impotence and lack of influence in what happened, whilst burbling that the weekend talks can still go ahead! Bit like a teenager whose house has burned down but is still desperate for his birthday party to take place... It's also the case that this months International forum in New York had growing support for the recognition of a Palestinian state amongst those countries that have not previously, despite a significant majority already doing so ... particularly from France and possibly the UK ... that will not now be the number 1 topic / concern for the forum ... although conceivably it might come back to bite Benny on the arse if it becomes the trade off with the West for letting him get on with it with Iran. Finally, I wholly agree that the worst and most destabilising event to occur in the region was the emergence of a fundamentalist Iran with its stated objectives on Israel.

And what you fail to see is that there was an Iran nuclear deal before Trump ripped it up. One that was ensuring that Iran did not enrich their uranium to develop a nuclear weapon. Nothing to do with hatred or Israel, that’s just your lazy take on it because you don’t understand the nuances of what was taking place. So tell me this, do you think Iran are now closer or further away from developing a nuclear weapon ?
Do you happen to remember the 'weapons of mass destruction' ? Not saying Iran isn't doing everything it's accused of ... likely is ... but it's a huge leap from arming terrorists / rebels / insurgents in neighbouring stares / countries with AK47s and rockets to developing nuclear missiles ... ... and 'what we already know' is what we are allowed to know ... Yes I am very cynical ... hands up ... as the IDF soldier said to the breast feeding Gazan woman in the wreckage of the maternity ward ... PS the last paragraph was a blatant attempt at gallows humour ...
Iran take no notice of deals and tbph whether they were developing nuclear weapons or not, they still needed slapping and I'm glad that Israel is taking it up on itself to keep the world safe, the future will owe it a debt of gratitued, that the pressnt lacks.
You need to learn to be more grateful, trust me Israel is doing the right thing, and protecting our future children from the weapons of complete madmen. Amen.
Anyway more seriously, **** the dictators / military of Iran, todays actions were long overdue. I even said that on here well before now.
