No one’s losing interest in France, they’re just paying the price for bad recruitment. They have too many average players on one last big pay day. Catalans have been excellent for the last few years, winning a Challenge Cup and making the Grand Final, however, like all good sides, it comes to an end and you have to rebuild.
They use Toulouse rugby union’s ground after their plan to extend their own stadium was turned down. Capacity about 19,000.For bigger games the union club uses the municipal stadium, home of Toulouse football club with a capacity of about 34,000. Toulouse is in an area which is a rugby union hotbed. Was talking to Charlie Cresswell’s grandad who had been there to see him after his transfer there from Leeds United. Says it is a beautiful city. But there is more excitement about what the union club do than the football one even though the football club is getting higher average crowds at the moment. Seems to be a sporting city all round.
Good rugby game coming up on ITV. Bath v Leicester Play Off Final. Good to see a final with no empty seats.
Not talking about the capacity for football. Talking about the reduced capacity figure. There is a 23,500 capacity for rugby at the MKM and a Hull and Rovers game has never reached it.
Yes, of course. Yet Rovers always sell out their allocation. Unless you mean a lot of FC fans live in East Hull.
Nothing to do with it. They cannot fill it. There wasn’t 23,500 there for Cup games when Rovers got more. Stop making excuses. Rugby tow. Yeah, sure.
Rovers had over 5,000 there for the bottle throwing derby and it still didn’t sell out the available seats.
Give it a rest it's an obsession with you . Everybody knows your point you've been banging on about it for 10 years .
