Old people are **** at dates. I tell my Nan I’ll call her on Sunday afternoon and she spends the first five minutes insisting she was waiting by the phone (she has a mobile permanently plugged into its charger) because I said Saturday.

 

Don't think the US have said they knew nothing of it. Just that they didn't militarily support it.

It’s just funny that a load of entitled people thought they’d be sound walking through Egypt to its border seemingly unaware of Egyptians’ views of Palestinians.

And no, I’m not a fan of some of the right latching onto Israel just because they hate Muslims a bit more than Jews but given the left have gone absolutely mental it’s preferable to the usual being caught between each end of the horseshoe. Plenty of right wingers still using this to froth about Jews.

It wasn’t the right wing out celebrating October 7th. It was the pretend Communists bizarrely rimming Islamists.

 

The problem is that it will just accelerate Iran’s drive to produce a nuclear weapon to ‘defend’ themselves. And the world becomes even more dangerous with another nuclear armed country.

 

The leadership could be overthrown, which would be a win for most Iranians particularly in the diaspora.

 

I heard Netanyahu’s ‘proud people of Iran’ bollocks. He’s a warmonger, he doesn’t give a **** about the people of Iran. He wants to drag the US into a fight with Iran so that Israel becomes the king pin in the Middle East.

If Trump was smart he’d look at how well ‘regime change’ went in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and tell Netanyahu to do one. But he is a pissy weak little man and acts like Israel’s bitch.

So I’m expecting a new nuclear arms race across the Middle East and oil prices going through the roof. A grinning Putin and eveybody paying £2.50 a litre for petrol and the cost of living to rise once again
