You think that's a slur? What about this - 'You’re a typical teacher ie a ****ing entitled prick'. You didn't write it, but you liked it, and certainly didn't get offended on the recipient's behalf. It wasn't aimed at Kalman though, obvs.
I've never listened to it. Much happier to get the gist of in on here. I've a rule in life to be suspicious of any Barry that calls themselves Baz. It's served me well.
In fairness, I've I've liked many a post without agreeing with the full content of them, any chance of quoting the full post he liked? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Mea culpa, I could always blame the waitress for distracting me by bringing my full English breakfast as I was typing. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Pffftttt, lazy twat. I got up and cooked a full one for myself, the wife and one of the grandaughters. It was full English&Stornoway black pudding and potato scones
Lorne sausage? It's just sausage meat in a long square block sliced...I normally go to the local butcher and buy the whole block of steak Lorne for £12(approx 20 slices). It's different from sausages in casings but if you buy it from the butcher it's got a high meat content and very little fat.I still buy 'normal' sausages mostly but the Lorne is handy if anyone pops in at breakfast time and I can just fry a couple of slices and bang them on rolls. Our local butcher does a nice savoury onion Lorne and does his own black pudding but I sometimes buy mcleods of stornoway black pudding(expensive but very tasty).
I really don't get the criticism of X / Twitter. As some others have said, it's a really useful, easy to use, free tool to get information, updates, insights, fun, etc etc. The issue is with the user not the tool. The power is in your hands. All you need to do is selectively & sparingly choose who you want to follow and then select the 'following' filter
I've been on blue sky for most of the year now, it's a bit like twitter used to be, only thing missing is city having an official account
My following feed is still full of ****e ad tweets with fake news about Steven Bartlett or Stacey Solomon Twitter has become a cesspit of misinformation from all sides. Not worth the time now.
Yeah, I get those too, but it takes literally a milli-second to skip past them. Ads are unfortunately everywhere, and many sites are far far worse than my 'following' feed on Twitter, but they don't stop me reading newspapers, using my pc, etc etc. I even go on HDM occasionally still
