62-6! Catalans Dragons with another unwanted record. Their biggest-ever Super League defeat. FC 14-22 lost FT.
Rovers 68-6 Dragons Mourgue converting 10 goals from 12 attempts against his former club Full-time What a homecoming. A 68-6 triumph and smiles all around. The Challenge Cup trophy to be paraded, with the party celebrations to continue. A night to forget for Catalans, suffering their biggest-ever Super League defeat
What has happened to Catalans they have always put up a fight . Hull FC really poor and the score almost flatters them .
They hadn't scored a point in four games, they've come to the home of the new Cup Winners and tried to knock their heads off. They get a player sent to the sin bin and two minutes later their captain gets sent off for throwing punches at two different players. Their captain is a disgrace for doing that, you need your captain on the pitch, not sat in the dressing room. They came to fight in the wrong way in that first half and lost, then they was totally outclassed.
The demise of Catalan Dragons is unbelievable. Even the mighty black and whites have easily turned them over which speaks volumes. Having said that Rervers did a good on them last night. I still think Wigan will be the team to beat come the end of the season.
Wouldn't surprise me. The Cockneys did, the Welsh did and the Geordies did. So you can see the logic in trying to promote the game in, erm, Las Vegas.
Last nights game was an actual sell out with little Catalan fans there if any. As I said above, their Captain is a disgrace with what he did, no consideration for his team mates or his Club, he should be stripped of the Captaincy.
Something going on in the background.Sacking McNamara was puzzling.Tomkins has taken them backwards. The second part of the first half v Rovers in the semi final they were very good.Havent played since.
Not a good look, but to be fair, the Rovers captain should have walked as well, he threw the first punch. Lucky for him he missed and then got sat on his backside, I think the referee took pity on him!
