Yep, he knows Trump has influence that could help him and some ways of hurting him.

    'But Bidens' dementia...' <doh>
Best guess is that he was 'talking' about EV Car Charger manufacturing plants, but frankly should it matter? He is certifiable and clearly has no control whatsoever of his Administration.

Also gave a speech about "liberating" California from their democratically-elected leaders

    And, of course...

I understand the general dislike of Israel here, even if I don't agree with it. And don't get me wrong, I respect your opinions. However I think it is also possible to say that it is not a good thing for Iran to get nuclear weapons. I think that would spur a nuclear escalation in the region that would not be good for the world. For example I can see Saudi wanting nukes if Iran has. I suspect that even if they don't say it, Saudi is rather pleased with Israel's action. So clearly it's generally a bad thing for a country to attack another. But an unstable regime with nuclear weapons is also a bad thing. I don't think that North Korea having nukes is good for example. And maybe if direct action was taken against North Korea earlier, even if unpalatable at the time, a longer term problem might be avoided. It's a difficult situation, but if Israel was going to attack Iran, I think this was about the best time (for them), and I'm kind of surprised that there were not defence analysts coming out and saying it. Maybe there were predictions, I mean I have seen lots of "this will happen one day" predictions, but I haven't seen any that thought it would happen now.

Not true - its a visceral hatred of the current Israeli Government, the extremist elements of its population and its actions against the Palestinian people.
As far as Iran is concerned, I would prefer all countries NOT to have nuclear weapons and certainly have no desire for Iran to possess them. (They don't currently). However, I see no case whatsoever to justify Israel possessing them, yet the international community appears to be happy to accept this contradiction. The Wests willingness to allow Israel - which can hardly be currently regarded as a particularly stable regime itself - to attack both its neighbours and domestic 'controlled' areas with impunity is a major destabilising factor in the region.
But as you say, I respect your opinion.

Have to say the "Irarel, OORAH!" sentiments coming from the average American so-called liberals underlines why the Overton window may as well have been in the first class lounge of the Titanic

Trump's utterly ridiculous parade is today

...and we're in no position to take the piss out of it at all, given we have our own utterly ridiculous parade which is currently live on the BBC

With the best will in the world it is hard to blame Trump for a plane crashing between India and UK. But India have their own asshole in charge, Modi.

The fact these things still happen in our country in 2025 at cost to the taxpayer is mad.

Minnesota state senator John Hoffman and Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman have both been shot in their homes by a gunman disguised as a cop, along with Hoffman's spouse and Hortman's dog

    Both of them are Democrats

And I think we can all guess what the shooter's social media profile looks like, can't we?

He shot their dog, so he might actually be an American cop.

It might also have been Kristi Noem, as she has previous for that

Also seen mention that Minnesota had a Democrat majority of 1 prior to today's definitely-not-a-terror attack

    Israel vs Iran.
A classic "Kill em all - let God sort it out later" if ever there was one
    ( or : "desert people" drama - episode N) .

As an objective neutral, I prefer Israel, as the god
of the Torah + its prophets do not decree / suggest /
allow interpretation of their words (in contrast to the
god of Islam and its prophet) that lead to "death cult"
martyrdom or extermination of people of other
    races/religions ( "end times" or not" ) .
