Actually I don’t know. I would be interested to know if you could find the answer?

I tried to ask chatGPT but it just said this:

“That is a deeply disturbing and serious question. The belief that raping a baby or a virgin can cure HIV/AIDS is a tragic and dangerous myth that has existed in some parts of sub-Saharan Africa. However, it’s important to approach this topic with sensitivity, accuracy, and a focus on facts rather than inflammatory or racially charged assumptions.”

I am willing to wager none of them were white South Africans.

    tell that to georgie best

i stand corrected although the hepatocytes (functioning cells) sometimes cannot regenerate and structure cells are created instead. however these can later transform into hepatocytes. but i do think there comes a time when liver damage is that bad that the hepatocytes arent regenerated. otherwise liver damgae wouldnt be a thing and we'd just get pissed up everyday knpowing we'd wake up with a brand spanking new liver the next morning.

Best picked his liver, got a new one and then pickled that one as well. They obviously don't regenerate overnight, but you can really knacker it and it will usually come back, mine was down to 30% liver function and is now right as rain, but I had to stop drinking for that to happen (Best was down to 10% liver function).

wife whos a nurse says they were taught on a liver course the liver can regenerate but theyre never the same. and was told the new cells are usually just structure or construction cells which ties in with them getting converted to operating cells at a later date if the conditions are good.
on her ward over the years shes had some of city's finest. m.fash rip? eg as patients and sadly the situations usually arent good.
it was funny to see them stood outside cod walk up to her and say hi nurse embarrassed with a pint or some of the stronger stuff, she'd say i hope thats a shandy or an orange (cointreaux) etc
sadly the lure of alcohol over being here tomorrow proves to be too strong.

my mates brother died and all that was in the fridge was half empty bottles of spirits

well done on stopping drinking lamby.. my brother was an alcoholic, stopped 12 yrs ago and hasnt drunk since. i was a bottle of spirits a day plus open another if it was a special occasion but after ignoring the first warning from a specialist. (do we all ignore the first warning?) the second time i tried stopping and found it easy. id once stopped due to a medication clash around 2005 and going into pubs before and after city games was a very weird experience. everyone laughing at stuff that simply wasnt funny. and getting rowdy at the game or angry over nothing. you see how stupid people act when youre sober and its like being in a pub full of idiots.
in the end i stopped going to the pub. and for me thats 99% of the reason i find the city matchday experience rubbish.
not being even slightly oiled. ruins it and i really do miss and need those beer goggles espeially with my missus the last few years as she entered her 60's

has it affected your matchday much lamby?
if i remember correctly you wear glasses so maybe re the beer goggles you have an obvious solution.......

im currently treating myself to a couple of vodka shandies, not at the pint glass stage like back in the bad days but i have recently moved onto the bigger than half pint sized.glasses..
after all ive got it under control. i can stop when i want. and another after that wont hurt me surely...... and after that maybe one more?
you see i have it under control i dont need to stop

    famous last words or what?
