Contract until 2028 is intriguing. Not as long as I thought it would be. I wonder why that decision was made?
It's about twice the average tenure of a PL manager so seems reasonable. Frank may be our first ever manager who has clearly outperformed in his previous role. Took a small club to the PL and kept it there...
W M ---------------O Finish at least PL 11th + win the FA cup. That is the definition of "success" next season ...
I’d love to see Spurs win the FA Cup, it’s been far too long. All depends on the draw though. You get Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea away and that’s game over.
Don't care. Field the strongest available side in such cases, whatever round, or the opponent, with the mindset that a loss is equivalent to league relegation.
I’m not saying don’t go for it, I’m saying it’s reliant on many things especially the draw. Spurs away to Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea makes it a lot more difficult to progress.
From Chris Cowlin's social media, though I'm not sure where he nicked it from: Harry Redknapp on the Tottenham players sending messages online to Ange Postecoglou... "That's football, that's what footballers do. Oh we love the previous manager... well why didn't you try a bit harder you might not have finished fourth from bottom. "It's the same old message you know. The king is dead, long live the king. That's football. They all come out and say the manager was great and then the new manager comes and he's great. "Then when he goes they're sorry to see him go. That's football, you mustn't take any notice of what they say."
Had one good season with Southampton, nothing like as good as record as Frank....nearly every season was one of Brentford's best ever
I've not seen a welcome to the club or interview with Frank yet , normally the media team are on it straight away
I think the players gave their all for Ange. It was the tactics that meant results were as bad as they were.
