Daws adds value by helping Johnny Ayres with the washing.

Yeah, I listened to the podcast. I posted about how Baz seemed to be hell bent on finding the negatives in everything and choosing not to see any positives (other than bizarrely seeing Giles coming back as a positive coz "he's a good lad" and 'theres a player in there"). Seemed to me like a lot of what he was saying, and pushing onto the others, was his own opinion, feelings and conjecture - not fact. I normally like the podcast but Baz was on one for some reason. So yes, I call BS re his talk of this extra coach being there ready to take over. I believe it's simply a sensible move, adding welcomed additional British football experience. No problem with Baz posing questions that need posing, but he was a negative arse on that episode and needs to sort himself out or else **** off coz that's not how the chair of that podcast should be presenting himself imo.

    It’s honestly like a cult.

‘Nobody should criticise dear leader. Nobody should be negative about dear leader’.

    Good grief.

I don’t recall him saying the coach was coming in to take over if needed. I remember him saying it was odd with Dawson being still in situ. I think Katherine said hypothetically does this potential coach take over as interim if things go wrong as Daws has done twice previously.

I had said it felt a bit Phil Brown under Parkinson as you could wonder does this new coach get sacked if Sergej does. I don’t think anyone was portraying it as a fact though

Regarding the overall sentiment on the pod I would wonder what you would think could be reported as positive at the club right now?

At least more neutral would have been more professional, not looking for negatives in practically everything.
I think it's positive that he's bringing in 3 assistants, and this additional British coach is being recruited too. Same with having added Hodges on the scouting / recruitment side.
The coach appointment is imo a(nother) punt. We can only hope it works out this time. We're far from the only club making changes, and with some in deeper turmoil; at least ours is now done & dusted and we move on to transfer business, which the signs suggest is well in motion, not stalled until Jak actually arrives in person.
Then there's the fact that the owner is clearly very focussed on our club (even more so given recent news), and, I would suggest, seems to have learned at least some lessons (see above as examples).
Of course there are positives. Baz chose not to look for any (bar Giles!).

Not even one with a direct line to the owner and has done a lot to maintain the relationship by literally not sensationalising stuff and leaving that the Mike White?

Jesus Christ. You really ar desperate to hang on to your naivety...

So you think Baz was very fair and balanced in that podcast? Remember, that's what I'm posting about, not about the owner.
I thought he was an overly negative twat on that podcast. I clearly wasn't the only one. Maybe he'd just had a bad day.
You might have thought differently. Fair enough. But **** off with your insults.

I think he's been fair and balanced throughout and Acun trusts him not to say what he's not supposed to say. Not until someone else has, or without a green light to do so anyway.

The way he never mentioned the wages and wrote up the investment plea very sympathetically. A sensationalist would have made far more of it.

This podcast IMO is him subtly stating his own POV from a far better informed viewpoint than anyone on here.

You just don't like it, cos you're a sycophant.

Last page you said the idea of a British coach was bs, now you're saying it's only the idea that they'd be interim that's bs.. Which by the way, if or when Jak moves on that would clearly be the point of bringing in an independent coach.

...which didn't come from Baz, and it's clearly not the intent, was just speculation from Kathryn Batte.

It may have been subtly mentioned that he may me going back to a senior development as opposed to first team role after being marginalised by Ruben though...

One to keep an eye on.

But GFAW's blatant misreading of that speaks volumes.

Poor chap. Gonna sting when he can't credibly deny we're a basket case anymore.
