I see Nick Montgomery left Spurs when Ange was sacked. ex Central Coast Mariners and Hibs boss. Was assistant to Ange last season. Not amazing premier league experience but at least some and recent, and a former manager / coach that was highly rated and we obviously had a relationship with and trusted considering the loans whilst he was there. Just wondering if he's a possible to join the coaching team. any thoughts @FellTop ? edit - ex Sheff Utd so might not be too pleased with us right now
its been a long week 4 days of back to back meetings and tours around medical pathology at the Hospital I work, i need sleep, burgers and several beers
Was a disgrace what he done at full time trying to pull them apart. His goal celebration was well over the top as well for a manager
think at times he let being a supporter of the club cloud his judgement but yeah, pulling apart RLB and his team from celebrating was pathetic, you dont do that,
I think Parker will be easier to pry away than Mckenna, Parker sees himself as a PL manager and some Burnley fans get the feeling from him that he was only their to do Burnley a favour and that hes bigger than the club ,like he was waiting for something better to come along
I had a look at their forum yesterday and they all seemed sure Rohl was imminent (hence my post earlier) but you're absolutely right, it does look like they're resigned to it being Edwards now and they're not particularly happy about it.
nope they not a few say give him a chance most are unhappy if he does hoofball like at Luton they will hate him
Cough cough. I have mentioned the 92 points and is no mean feat. However, this was more thinking from the board point of view with the grass is not always greener and the next appointment will be under pressure to do the same or better. I detest the man.
Dont know much about him mate. If I was picking up from Spurs it would be Matt Wells, but he may fancy a crack at his own gig now.
I think Brentford will go for someone from overseas or Parker/ McKenna. Parker is from that way so might want to be closer to home. and Brentford is somewhat more glamorous than Burnley
Sounds like Parker isn't on the shortlist for the job - obviously could change McKenna seems like a good fit for them, but Brentford do things differently so wouldn't be surprised another manager from abroad to come in
With Tuchel not impressing anybody I think the time is right to appoint Eddie Howe as England manager.
