Reform UK struggles to find friends to share council power This is the reality of voting for a party that only campaign on one issue, i.e. immigration. All very well shouting Stop the Boats at frightened old ladies whilst campaigning on the streets, but running councils is about the nuts and bolts of day to day life, roads, schools, hospitals, transport, buses, social care, commerce etc. When these people do actually get into power, they don't have a ****in clue about how things work and it's no wonder that loads of councils where Reform did well in the elections has seen them unable to work with actual councillors who have been doing the job for years. Down here in Cornwall, reform were given two weeks to try and form an administration and they couldn't to do it, because they'd already fallen out with the rest of the councillors. Some of the people had to put notices on their doors of their origin, because of innocent people's cars getting torched, or houses bricked.
