Been a few times, love the place, great food and wine, lovely walks and great beaches, plus Racing's ground is only 200 metres from the beach, one of the best locations for any ground and all set against the backdrop of the Cantabrian Mountains.....

What an odd competition this WTC is. I read that South Africa played 12 tests in this cycle, avoiding Australia and England and playing and drawing with India in SA. Victories against Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies saw them through.

England played 22 tests including big series against Australia (home draw)and India (away big loss). Won the other series against New Zealand, West Indies and Pakistan.

Aussies 74/7 lead getting towards 150.... maybe enough given the way SA batted in first innings.....

Still nice to have a bit of encouragement for the Ashes....

Looks like some very good bowling from 2 excellent bowling teams. Both need to improve their betting but when you can rely on your bowlers you don't need a mountain of runs.

Going SA's way now - 147 for 2 with only another 135 needed.

Now down to less than 100 with 8 wickets in hand......

Things could change rapidly if Aussies grab a couple of quick wickets....
