No knickers twisted here I can assure you. Your point about the setting up of systems to allow them to qualify is possibly true - although I would suggest it's more about money for UEFA. But your secondary point that it is not a notch in a manager's belt to win it is crazy. Every manager would have that on their CV in a flash because, as I previously pointed out, the managers don't make the rules they just try and win the trophies and if that gains them champions league qualification then that is undoubtedly another notch and probably a healthy bonus.
I have a sign waiting to go up..................To the club, your time is running out. Footnote - We are a non-Sherwood appointed club.
I wasn't expecting much from the forthcoming season even before Cifuentes was put on gardening leave but this really is beginning to look like it could be an unmitigated disaster. Time is rapidly running out before pre-season training is supposed to begin and we have no coach, no idea how sparse the squad is going to be, no idea what we'll be wearing, i think only 1 pre-season match arranged and will probably go into the start of the season yet again physically undercooked and unable to compete. While Marti sits unwanted at home watching Loose Women. Is that about the gist of it? All from a club that said they were aware of the fans unease and would be more communicative and yet have said bugger all. It's a fecking shambles.
Marti was in charge this time last year and we still came into the season 'undercooked', just the same old sh*t. Simply don't have any expectations as there's nothing happening at the moment... https://www.londonworld.com/sport/football/qpr/qpr-cifuentes-middlesbrough-charlton-small-5170660
When the newly signed kids talk about "the pathway" I can't help thinking thats code for "My agent says as long as I turn up I should get a game".
No transfer funds available as all our cash goes on a new wheelbarrow and spade for our rhododendron growing ex-coach
Interesting. And what about the rest of the article which shows that he's not been that successful since? Wish him luck and sincerely hope the downward spiral is over. He'll get the customary 12 games from me before I start to moan about him
Sounds exciting..... A short passing game is how Stephan likes his teams to operate, while they can be cautious in nature. QPR fans can expect a patient approach and not one that is gung-ho in the pursuit of goals.
