And going back to the previous season in the Champ, Ipswich beat Sheff Wed 6-0. Why didn't they sack Rohl?
I'm completely neutral on Jakirovic, I think it's all we can be really. I put absolutely no stock in his win ratio or record of goals scored at his previous clubs, because that obviously isn't transferrable as we saw with Tim Walter. I'm also a bit sick of hearing about his tactical pragmatism because again it's so easy to applaud that in the summer when there's no games but as soon as he loses a couple that will be forgotten and he'll get the same old criticisms; why doesn't he play a back three when it's so obvious he should, etc etc. Hopefully he wins the players over and knows what he's doing, and hopefully the club gets their act together off the pitch and gives him a fighting chance. Those things are what will determine his success, not his previous PPG or whether he changes style often enough.
Acun had a conflict of interests with Fenerbahce, hopefully he can now focus on supporting Jakirovic to improve Hull City, this is a good sunny day in Hull, our future looks more prosperous. UTT.
We all know though any manager needs a good team too Personally I genuinely believe another season staying up is a success Maybe low expectations But thats where im at
A 2 Year deal with a club option for a third year. I suppose he’ll at least get an 18 month payout. Not bad work.
Twt how good or how bad this bloke is, but his stats so far read well, let's just hope he gets to grip with the rigours of the Championship quickly and understands what's needed. What we need now is the owner to back the manager with the missing pieces so he can make a proper fist of it. Good luck big Jak
Bringing his team with him, and Andy Dawson stays on. How long before he's caretaker, for the third or maybe its the fourth time.
Nice letter from Acun to Fenerbahce supporters Dear Fenerbahce Community, I would like to share with you that I have resigned from my position as a member of the Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, which I have served with great pride. I was born a Fenerbahçe fan. The yellow-navy jersey has been the purest and most enthusiastic part of my life since my childhood. Although I experienced difficulties from time to time during this period I spent under the roof of the board of directors, every moment was a great honor for me. I received criticism, I received support, I fought. But I never forgot this: Everything here was for Fenerbahçe. I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to our esteemed President Ali Koç, my valuable administrative colleagues with whom I worked together, our valuable athletes, club employees and most importantly, the great Fenerbahçe fans. With love and respect, Acun Ilicali
It's clear that no one from it calendar looks on here, some woman just made a right arse of pronouncing his name.
Well Peter Levy can't even say Ull (or Haaaaaaalllll) correctly and he's been presenting round here for decades.
Can we make sure when the threads started we have it as Jak Off rather than Jak Out thanks in advance
I would bet that whoever this mystery coach coming in is a “break glass in case of emergency” hire as well as helping Sergej
