I was hoping to come up for the first match and I've never struggled to get tickets to a sunderland home game but I think this time I might
Are you allowed to pay using a payment plan? Entered my card details but the verification doesn't have seemed to have worked
Think we will pretty much have maxed our ST allocation this season, the jump in price is a bit of a tough one, believe that we still offer one of the lowest in the premier league though As long as they continue split into 6 DD the £100 will be easier to swallow for the early birds next year, barring any further increases next year Talking to a Leicester fan and his is split monthly - Wonder if its something we have or will consider doing
I've always wondered why clubs don't offer season tickets on a subscription model with a rolling 12 month contract that renews every July. You basically get your season ticket cost spread over 12 months and it automatically gets renewed unless you cancel. Would make it loads more affordable as lets say the ticket is £600, that's £50 a month rather than lump sums. Obviously the club could / would still offer the standard "pay up front" option to those who prefer it rather than have monthly outlay.
I honestly don’t think those prices are bad, I’m sure there’s still championship teams who charge more, it’s a canny hike in prices but overall not too bad for premier league football
Assuming we stay up this season, would we be looking at a 10% increase on those prices for the following season?
My mate tried to get 3 together but it doesn't allow you, can only buy one at a time... as he held one, one of the other three went... he's not happy
Since they've confirmed over 30,000 already renewed I wonder how many season tickets we'll actually sell. They obviously do anticipate massive demand or they wouldn't have stuck £100 on most of the prices. Is getting a shade above 40,000 dreamland? Not that it greatly matters tbh
Cash flow for the club will be a big thing. Also I'd imagine there would be concerns that if things went downhill on the pitch people would just stop paying lol.
Ah yeh I think the latter might be the main barrier to doing this. The cost (and optics) of having to chase supporters for payments
You could buy more than one at a time you just needed to assign it to an account at checkout, granted there was limited seats together, helped a lad at work get some theyve ended up having to get the £690 tickets as they were looking to get 6 close by to eachother
Big jump that like. The concern for me is that if you were early bird this year the increase to next year is going to looking at 25/30%.
