So we keep our better players, which has to be a starting point. > We still need some new ones to fill the gaps, and we have little idea what the new coach will be like.
I thought his dad, Giampaolo Pozzo, ran Udinese not Gino. Strange article. Less dodgy dealings with them I guess, means we will actually have to use the transfer market more wisely if the sale goes through!
Ah didn't realise he was that old, hence the intro of the article confused me: "The reported sale of Udinese is progressing, with Gino Pozzo deciding to end his family’s 39-year association with the Italian club in order to focus more closely on Watford." Well, only time will tell how that pans out for us.

Looks like Pedro's possible transfer to Newcastle would be worth more to us than first thought https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...yday-newcastle-target-pedro-leaves-brighton/?
If that does go through, but isn't invested at least somewhat in transfers then we really are goosed financially.

I doubt Vata will be welcome back at Celtic after this... https://www.67hailhail.com/news/ex-...cottish-premiership-or-englands-championship/
Oh dear . Not a great evening for Sierralta. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-man-sierralta-sent-off-chile-beaten-bolivia/
Oh, I dunno. Nothing against Celtic in his comments, more about the quality of the opposition they face I'd say. Celtic would probably survive in the EPL, Rangers would likely yoyo from EPL to Championship, after that I reckon most would struggle in the Championship at best.
