So basically the group of players I thought we'd sell when everyone was saying we were going to sell first team starters.

I would not be entirely surprised if Pandur, Hughes, Puerta and Kamara were sold too but I hope not. I would hope at the very least that we put eight figure price tags on the first three to ward off potential buyers and if they want to bid that much, there’s a conversation to be had.

On a separate note, I’m surprised we haven’t looked at some Australian players. There’s some decent young ones around the world. Know much about Triantis, Yazbek and Bos?

I'm a big fan of Bos, and I mentioned Botic a while back, although looks like he's off to the Bundesliga. There's definitely a good group coming through.

How did Yazbek play in the recent games for Australia? Heard he did alright against Japan when coming on.

Also, didn’t he once get banned for calling someone a **** in the MLS? Americans recoil at that word and it’s a term of endearment in Australia <laugh>

I didn't actually catch the game against Japan so not too sure, but that's great if true. <laugh>

I thought they'd been playing Klarer at RB for most of the season, didn't realise he was mostly a CB. Then again, he was playing in League One.

We were linked with Reynolds before, if we could get him it would be a good signing.

What happened to the lad that signed for Newcastle, Garang Kuol? Was supposed to be a proper prospect for the future, I saw he went to Hearts but then he was recalled so guessing it didn't go well for him there.

Think he's had a few injuries which have hampered things. I still really rate him but wouldn't be shocked to see him come back to Australia to re-capture some form before making another move. Hard to tell.

Interesting record and worth a punt. Just reading on wiki and when he played for Legia Warsaw, who were current champions, the team bus was attacked by their own fans after a 1-0 defeat at home. He was one of the players attacked by fans who got on the coach. He said he would never play for them again. He might start worrying if we keep losing at home to **** teams.

You'd think we'd be safe going for some free agent from a foreign 2nd division without any of the other ****s competing ffs

He will be a good player. Like Longman proved elsewhere, steady Champ player. Unfortunately we've seemed to prefer hide and seek champion Slater over him and he hasn't really had a run.

Because he shouldn't be second choice, and those clubs all know that.

I was sat with Nathan Gaynor at Portsmouth, biggest agent in the NRL (cove) and he has only 4 in the UK. They tend to head into Europe first and then get picked up there. That might change soon though as there is going to be someone working for Cove in the UK :emoticon-0148-yes:

If Jakirović has a bit more of a say over transfers and he wants a few players that have previously played under him then Lindon Selahi is a no-brainer, in my opinion. He’s available on a free transfer this summer and was an integral part of that Rijeka team that just won the domestic double and was a key player even when Jakirović was coach there. Wages wouldn’t be astronomical and would mean we’re making a decent bit of money if/when we sell Alzate and Simons.

Selahi has been previously linked with Blackburn, Millwall and Stoke so it’s not like he’s unknown to English scouting teams.

As I read that I thought and hoped it was going on to say he led number players off the bus and kicked the **** out of a few of the supporters, the rest ran away in fear of the big mad Azerbaijani striker
