There's a good reason for that mate. You have Chippy living up the hill from it and Trev living other side of it
Seriously mate what a **** hole.... Was incidentally up Ashtington and thats quite a nice leafy suburb in comparison. The street actually smelt of skunk in Stanley and there was angry people banging on doors for no apparent reason.
I will next time I'm up... Seriously I'm still kinda in shock at how awful the vibe was in Stanley... I've been to concert a bit and I know some bloke got shot in Stanley recently, but I wasn't expecting the entire place to be so vile. The people? ****ing hell they're like some weird breed that's been quarantined up there.
Always was a goalscorer. I think he came to us to early and in a **** show. He’s a good striker and always was.
If we signed him for 18m we could get 15-20 goals out of him in this team. I would take him in a heart beat.
Nothing new there, the Ronnie Gill have done that for decades living off the unexpected signing of Keegan
So 400m spent and not a single penny from us even though we are supposed to be the spending powerhouse that world football is scared of. Interesting that eh.
I agree. Totally. I think I was being a bit facetious. We were never buying a player before the June year end. But I think we might just get some nice surprises. I am astonished however at some clubs ability to spend like Manu.
Different clubs have different approaches to end of year accounting. Some clubs ahead of us on finances will want deals done early so the deals clear a year earlier in a long term view I suppose.
We're miles away in revenues and you need to realise that it will take many years to get even 'closer'. The snobbery surrounding transfer links is a sign that we're becoming Arsenal fans.
