    Huge money but if he lives up to the ability and what he’s shown so far then could be a world beater.

    I think the fact he only wanted lfc over city and Bayern is huge though. German superstar turning down Bayern for lfc is pretty much unheard of.

    We wouldn’t be doing the deals for Frimpong / Kerkez and Wirtz if FSG didn’t think we could afford it.

    Nothing against the player, I truly hope he's "worth it" - but it would be hypocritical of me with my history of criticising other clubs for fuelling the seemingly limitless inflation of transfer fees, to then say it's ok when we do it.
    Crazy money.
    I look forward to seeing what the fuss is about.

    Look at it this way.....without the add ons the price is thought to be about £110m.......a large sum but....Grealish £100m and £300,000 a week,
    Rice £100m.....Caicedo £115m(?).........its all obscene money at the end of the day. Sounds like the add ons are a little complicated so we'll see.

    We have one of the outstanding young talents in European football :smiley-finger007:
