100% he’s probably been the best value for money defender I’ve seen at the club bar Steven Taylor but that was comedy not action hero! Seriously though for £3.5m there can't be many better signings in the leagues history since the early 00's (bar free transfers obviously). In terms of goals he's got 18 EPL goals (21 in total) - 25th most of any defender across the EPL era. Six more and he's into the top 10! Of those still playing in the league only Seamus Coleman (22) and Virgil Van Dijk (25) have more than him.
Good player. Good attitude. I like the fact that he says it how it is. He’s a good defender and has served us well. Loves the club and will probably get legendary status with the trophy win.
