Think Baz said north of £1million would be what city would want for drameh, although they aren’t actively looking to sell him.
There’s allegedly 9 clubs interested in him….coyle was **** last season so we need another rb.
What are all these clubs seeing that we are missing ?

 

There were games Drameh looked really good, some not so much, but he's pretty young at 23 so I don't think it's too much of a stretch to imagine his performances might balance out a bit. Especially with a good run of games and some confidence.

Hard to imagine replacing him with more quality for 1m so doesn't sound like the wisest business to me.

 

I thought he looked decent to be honest. I'd be disappointed to see him go when he could end up solving part of the problem. He needed a run of games at right back so the club could see what he was capable of... But it didn't happen.

 

I posted something similar a couple of weeks back and came under sustained attack...

It’s ****ing stupid business to sell Drameh for 1m

 

Let’s be honest Drameh isn’t going to get in the team ahead of Coyle and we really need to be improving upon Coyle. If we get north of £1m and it allows us to sign a properly decent right back then that’s good business imo.

Think Drameh would do well in a back 5 but that’s not the style so he won’t be doing that here.

 

I was under the impression that he will change and play defensively if needed, and Giles and Drameh are probably good full backs for a back 5 where they have a bit more cover

 

Ironically, Drameh Hughes Jones SMac Giles, probably wouldn't be a bad back 5.

 

We need a rb and there’s as many as 9 clubs chasing our second choice……how does hat even make sense

 

If we sell Drameh for around £1 million but still want a right-back to challenge or even improve upon Coyle, it will cost us a lot more than that.

 

I'd be asking Birmingham how much they want for Christoph Klarer.

 

I think they would make a great back 5 but that’s not the style so it won’t happen. Just stick Macca at left back instead.

 

So would Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch

 

I think this is part of how we underrate our existing players. There are a lot of examples of it. I've mentioned it plenty before but Millwall wanted Ryan Longman last summer, and Blackburn wanted McLoughlin. These are players we consider limited but top half Championship teams saw them as desirable.

 

Might have to explain that to some.

 

Good free kick defensive wall, the opposition won't bend it around them.

He’s a centre-half though. We’re pretty good there. Not really a position to spend significant money on unless one or more of them are sold.

Westerlo apparently need to sell players for FFP reasons. I’d take both Reynolds and Bos for the fullback positions but they want at least €3.5 million for Reynolds.
