I mean I love the signing of Sesko - but I think he basically ensures we are going to need to bring in a goalscoring LWF.

Whether he's ready to hit the ground running or not remains to be seen. The more I watch of him, the more he reminds me of RVP.

A Rodrygo or Leao would give us the output we need to maintain a title challenge.

Looks like Kepa is going to be signing.

Still not convinced at all by this, but I suppose he's an upgrade on Neto and he won't be featuring much if Raya performs to the level he has for the past 2 seasons. Fingers crossed Raya doesn't suffer any injuries either.

£5m is peanuts to have the best backup keeper in the league.

Really decent back up and for carling cup etc.

Like Cini said at £5m it's a no brainer

    Neto was a liabilty.

Leao has handed in a transfer request at Milan apparently. Right footed. Plays on the lefts. With him, Nico Williams, Gittens and maybe Rodrygo on the market we better one of the teams that gets one of them.

Gonna have to deal with also the Chelsea trolls saying we just sign their rejects (again)..

But £5 million for a quality 2nd choice is good business. He was good at Bournemouth last Season.

Let's not forget Chelsea paid £71 million for him.

Meh.. One good season at Dortmund.

Could be another Sancho, Sahin, Kagawa, Mkhitarian etc.. soo many players leave Dortmund and don't replicate that form elsewhere.

    No trolling from me.
He was finished for me the second he decided he wouldnt be subbed off during a game, but that aside he is a decent keeper, and still better than any other keeper we have on our books, certainly better than Sanchez and Jorgensen.
In any case, as a number 2 keeper, for £5m, its a steal....and a good bit of business by Arsenal.
But you do seem to like signing our ex-players! :p

Indeed. And it very rarely works out. The only players I can think of who we've bought from you that haven't been a total disaster have been Jorginho, Havertz (still not a huge fan, but he's not been terrible) and David Luiz (was instrumental in us winning the 2020 FA Cup, put in 2 monstrous displays in the semi-final and final). Cech was OK, but we bought him when he was on the wane.

    Everyone else has been rubbish.

Bottom line is, we need to stop buying your players <laugh>. I'm getting a bit sick of rummaging in Chelsea's bargain basement.

Looks like we're back in for Jorrell Hato. He plays LB/CB. An attacker or two would be nice, Arsenal...
