Don’t mind scouting North Africa for players. It beats signing overrated dross from Turkey for £3-4 million a pop.
Mate, judging by that video he is the very definition of the term "****ING SHOOT!!!!!!" Looks decent but man alive, if I had a player dancing about 6 yards out from goal on our team, I'd have tackled him myself.
On a related note, I think Giles and Sinik are up there with Bullard for contender of ‘worst signing ever’ in terms of value for money and actual impact. Not the worst players but certainly the worst signings.
We've done it before with Gedo, other clubs seem to do well hunting there too. Rangers got Igamane from Rabat, I think. That one club that OLM mentioned earlier that Salah came from, also produced Mohamed Elneny so there's a lot of talent there we can tap into. I wonder who it is that is hooking us up with these names? Jared Dublin's FM saves coming in clutch or Tijani Belaid doing a bit of freelance work?
I see that Sorba Thomas has gone to Stoke, apparently he’s decent, hopefully Stoke can **** him up & make him useless.
Weird. The whole loan for 2 years was weird in the fact we sent him to the ‘Man City’ of the league and he never played. It surprises me in football now there’s ‘loan managers’ and ‘directors of football’ and they got that so wrong,
There will be no transfers for 6 days as the window is closed between 10th and 16th June. Due to the club World Cup I believe.
I wouldn’t think so, we don’t sign players while at least August 20th when the pl clubs decide who they don’t want
Obviously transfers will still be agreed, they just can't be officially filed until the window re-opens on June 16th.
Interestingly, Laalaoui has been played as the deepest midfielder for Morocco under-20s’ recent games. He can play as a number 6, 8 or 10 but because he’s still young, I wonder if we’re signing him to mould him into a specific type of midfielder. When Liverpool first signed Gravenberch, he was expected to be a box-to-box midfielder and he was pretty much a flop. When Slot went there, he saw Gravenberch as a number 6 and he’s been one of the best defensive midfielders in the league this season. It’s not unusual for a lot of young midfielders to be ‘jack of all trades’ and later develop into a specific type.
Well that's your cover blown. I thought it odd you pretended to be a teacher whilst posting night and day on here. You'll be racking those air miles up. Any more signings incoming?
