Has to be said the Football BSider article is ****e even for them: they're using Tel's farewell message to Ange to claim he's posting a farewell message to Spurs fans

In terms of him staying, given we've reportedly spoken about the project to Frank, surely Tel has come up at some point

If the past few years have taught me anything, it's that I believe nothing from any media source....

Still think he has a year or two left in him, just needs to be played correctly.

Ange used him as a touchline winger, every other manager used him as an inside forward.

Guy is brilliant at putting the ball in the net, let him hover near/in the area and feed him.
No need to run his balls off chasing things.

Probably his last full season at Spurs.

Stick him in the starting XI for all the CL games,
and use him moderately in the PL starting XIs.

Says a lot that, once we got to the latter stages of the Europa, we tended to have Udogie hug the line which allowed Son/Tel to cut in more often

He’s still the best attacker Spurs have.

1 more season makes sense for all concerned.

Mundo Deportivo say we're running the rule over Brugge LB Maxim De Kuyper

Haven't seen much of him, but he's played a lot of games over the last couple of seasons.
109 for Club Brugge alone, plus another 9 for Belgium.
Was on loan at Westerlo before that, where Devine and Vuskovic spent the last campaign.

He's statistically good and he looks the part, so I wonder why he's still in Belgium?
Currently being linked with a variety of clubs, so I expect he'll go somewhere this summer.
We definitely need depth at left-back.

Jarrad Branthwaite's name once again simmering away, this time with the Liverpool Echo claiming we've made contact

Just cannot see that deal happening. He’ll likely cost a small fortune and to essentially play second fiddle to van de Ven?

I mean I definitely won’t complain if we pull it off but… just don’t see it being a goer.

Unless Frank sees Micky as a LB (as he is tonight for the Dutch!) He does like his centre backs to be able to head the ball not VDVs strength

Which is so bloody odd considering he’s about 6’4.

That’d be like a level up from when Sevilla got Gil back on loan from us.

I can see Richarlison heading back to Everton though in some capacity. He’d probably love to return there now as well what with Bramley Moore opening this coming season.

I wonder if Sweden discourages boys from heading the ball
