Not gonna write him off by any means but would find a striker signing from Ukraine to be thoroughly underwhelming. Would clearly hope to be surprised by him.
He’s a good centre forward mate for sure. my worry is the physical side of his game but he’s had talk of a big career and scored against some good sides
I think we have 2 already who I hope/expect to be at least competent at Premier League level. I expect that we will buy a 3rd, and I hope that he will be our obvious no.1 striker.
Suppose it’s a much better problem than having no options currently in the squad. We have good foundations to build on. I trust them to do a good job this summer.
In our systems, I think Vanat would be better in our 442 than he would as the lone striker in the 433. You need players close to him and running beyond him. I'm not sold on him at all, especially at the reported price. Lack of top end speed and a very slight build concern me, think you need at least one of speed or strength to be good in the PL. Goal scorers are hard to find though so we'll see.
Linked to Oscar Bobb on a permanent deal alongside the mags and Forest. Likely bollocks, mind, from ontheminute.com
feel that we are working on something huge, out of the 3 clubs that came up, I can see us and Leeds making more of a go at it than Burnley,
Wonder if they have half an eye for him also playing a bit of the wide right role in a front three too. The little I've seen of him, he reminds me a bit of Frigan. A fluid 3 with finishing and mobility from all may be something we go for. Not sure how that would work out of possession though.
That’s my concern, he’s not rapid and he’s not physical so he needs perfect service or runners around which he would get in Ukraine at kyiv
Yeh I reckon he'd be out of reach. Not saying we shouldn't try but I'd imagine most of the stable premier league clubs will be able to offer him first team football and more money.
