6’ 3” tall, started as a DM before switching to CB could be useful, should be able to control the ball out from the back, wonder if he’d be a replacement for Struijk I watched some footage of him earlier, he certainly puts in a few good tackles and looks good in the air in attack
Wober played a stunner while on International duty for Austria making several good clearances, afterwards he said; “Leeds has already made it clear to me that they want to sell me. I think I might have been able to send out a letter of application. “It was simply a good feeling to be back on the pitch and show that I can still play well, and that I definitely deserve to be here.”
Waste of a wage and squad place, should’ve sold or loaned last season unless Farke just wanted to make a point to him.
He's an international in a decent side, ranked 22nd surely he's worth a shot as a squad player ....but if they're not interested in keeping him hopefully we've someone in the pipeline... personally I'd have him but hey I'm not in charge
I’d have kept him if the attitude was right. I guess him being made captain and committing to Farke preseason then clearing off caused damage beyond repair. He’s a good CB but I guess there was just too much forgiving required. I’m okay with him being sold, I can see both sides, at least now he’s spoken out it answers a question.
I’d keep Wober as a back up for LCB. It looks like Bijol is a RCB so might be Bijol and Struijk on the back with Rodon & Wober as squad options.
Glad to see the back of him. After what he did, particularly as he was made captain, he can **** off.
Honestly don’t think that Rodon will be left out. Does every club have a left footed/right footed centre backs?
This is why I can see both sides, we have a lot of fans who’ll never forgive him. I don’t believe there are even 5% of the players who’d put club and their fans before self, Wober was just more blatant, if his effort would mean survival I’d forgive but not forget. Harrison is the one I never want to see back, he was with us when we got promoted then stayed away for both seasons. On top of that I think he’s poor and his standard is Championship
Romano - Jobe Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund, here we go! €33m fixed fee, €5m add-ons to Sunderland… and also 15% sell-on clause. Sunderland were hoping to keep him, big blow for them and very hard to replace
We’ll have to agree to disagree. Don’t rate Harrison very highly (most frustrating player I’ve ever watched) but thought he got treated pretty shoddily by the club on that transfer deadline day. Wober on the other hand declared that he would stay for a promotion push, got made captain and then butt ****ed Farke, the club and the fans on the preseason tour. Rat of the highest order so I’m very happy he’s gone
Harrison has stated he doesn't want to be part of Leeds anymore. Wober did what he did and looked disinterested all season. They both need to go.
