I’ve been a fan of Frank for a while now. He's not gonna have the charisma of Ange but he does have personable attributes that I think is good for man management. His ability to keep Brentford in the league is something that probably doesn’t get as much credit as it deserves. Going through the squad he has I think largely reeks of Championship barring Mbeumo, Wissa and maybe one or two others. This is also after losing Toney, Eriksen etc in recent years too, plus the likes of Watkins and Benrahma when they were in the Championship. The biggest reason I like him though is his tactical flexibility. Like all Spurs fans I love free flowing football but I think at times you have to accept that you need to also be smart in certain games and adopt a more counter/ defensive approach (it’s ironically how Ange actually won the Europa final!) and the way his Brentford team can switch styles based on the calibre of opposition they face is really impressive, it shows a high level of coaching to have your players being comfortable in different styles. As always though the success of the manager will be influenced by those above. Ange didn’t help himself last season barring the final but I was one of few people on the board that was livid with our summer last year as it stunk of a lack of ambition and left him up **** creek without a paddle. So if Frank (or whoever) does come in, we need to not only ensure we keep our key players but add to them. The statement on Ange’s sacking was about competing on multiple fronts, then give us the players to do it, Daniel.
Well that's a good sign: a coach who wants to be here Unlike at least one I could mention... please log in to view this image
Silva is a big no from me , if I remember he did the dirty on Watford to get the Everton job which went well,
To be fair, that does make him about the only manager Watford haven't sacked at the first sign of trouble in the last fifteen years
I think the only one, although there have been far too many at that club! ,He would still be a big no from me..
Ugh, got another round of "What about Edin Terzic" from the Reddit crowd I swear if Andy Booth wore a Dortmund kit, the Reddit crowd would say we should sign him...
Someone ban him for raising this post ... I know we have a no abuse rule on here but ... as my favourite 8 Yr old in school explained to me this morning... **** right off and suck yer mum arse

All the tap-in merchants are saying that it's done and it's on the BBC, so it looks like it's over the line. I wonder if this will lead to any unexpected signings? Eriksen, perhaps? Who doesn't suit Frank's style or personality?
Apparently we approached Iraola but he is happy to stay at Bournemouth. Sensible chap. Anyone who actually wants to join us probably shouldn't pass the fit and proper persons test.
Iraola's done very well at Bournemouth, but I think he'd run into the same issues as Postecoglou. His team has to run their arses off and he had similar injury problems to us, but without Europe. Up there on all of the running, sprinting, distance, etc. stats and also the injury ones.
Agreed. I didn't want him for these reasons. The only box he ticked that Ange didn't was his rotation and usage of his wider squad, which for a club the size of Bmouth with the injuries they had, to finish 9th was superb.
Have to say Maddison might be a square peg, given Frank's midfield operates with a 6 and two 8s Frank also likes balls over the top, which works better for Kinsky than Vicario - and for that matter, Dragusin is our only CB who looks for those passes
