Pointless game like 90% of internationals. Lose lose situation. Win 1-0 and everyone goes boring shocking. Win 7-0 and well yeah of course it’s Andorra. End of season game. Players knackered after season and just want to go on holiday.
Why did Curtis Jones play as RB? They picked two RBs for the squad. There's experimenting with players, but that usually means picking players that might not be your regular starters. Seems a bit pointless to play players in random positions that they're never going to actually play in. Also to only win 1-0 against Andorra is more than little embarrassing. Can't see Tuchel winning the WC so wont be sticking around after next summer, complete waste of time by the FA.
Cos tuchel. He played 4232 against a side parking a bus. Jones and James killed width. Madueke was poor and Bellingham totally disinterested. Yes it's a nothing boring **** game to have to play but bless them 95% in thr half filled ground were England fans on tour so they had a responsibility to give it a go. When henderson is more positive than you then you need a hard look at yourself.
Yes and no. Smash them 7-0 and people will say that but it'll show desire and intent too. Might even give the fans a bit of entertainment
Jones played about 30 seconds at RB during the whole game, was essentially a back 3 with jones in midfield to be fair. Tuchel has much better chance of winning World Cup than any previous manager. One thing he’s great at it getting job done in 1 off games. He’s a great cup manager
Assuming you didn’t watch the game as it wasn’t 4243 It was a back 3 with jones Henderson central midfield and Bellingham and palmer behind Kane with madueke and Rogers staying very wide on their favoured foot offering real width.
It wasn't really anything as they parked a bus and people wondered off to o what they liked. Jones was nominally a rb but actually spent the game doing whatever. The usual from him. There was **** all width cos the ball was so slow. This was Andorra. It was a desperately poor game made poor by players who barely moved or if they did move they were poor on the ball or gave it away Indulgent and disinterested would be the apt terms for that
Jones spent that game in midfield alongside Henderson like he was told to do. Maybe we watched different games as Madueke and Rogers were pretty much on the touchline the whole game like old school wingers getting paint on their boots. Was quite refreshing to see two wingers on the right side trying to go round the outside the of the defender.
Been quality for psg by sounds of it as well. Prob the standout left back last couple years. Speed and power and defensively solid.

Yes, when thry took off the passenger thet greatly improved. I never said they were not a good 10 men. They have quite a talented team and then that total passenger up front
Did anyone watch the pens BTW? Extra time was really about protocol waiting for pens but once the conman was benched Portugal were really comfortable. The Portuguese keeper for the final two Spanish pens stood as a clear angles he could only dive one way. Both Spanish players went towards thst side and he almost saved the first and did leave the second. Morata being morata. It was so obvious on tv that the keeper was at an angle otwa4ds his right and the takers left. They were both right footed and just hit thst way. Spain led twice in the game and passed it to death as usual
