    I don’t think his time with us would put off any club that was interested in him before the Saints job. He was a seat warmer til the summer and he clearly is well thought of in Italy.

    His style both managerially and tactically was such a radical change from Martin that coming in mid season to a demoralised squad was never going to work. Don’t wish him any ill will personally

    Has to go down as one of the top 5 worst performances I’ve ever seen from England.

    Players prioritise winning free kicks over actually playing football. Horrible.

    Had no idea England were playing, but wouldn’t have watched it anyway. England qualifiers are generally awful.

    In games like this, I would honestly not start any England regulars, start an entire team of hungry fringe or new players.
