Apparently, I wonder if he knew this was coming, which is why he turned Saudi down. (I’m obviously not suggesting he’ll earn as much at spurs)
He finished 5th in his first season, which I believe is Spurs highest finish for some time. He gets his injuries back, some new additions to go with the buzz of winning the Europa, and he’s up there again. You get a new man in and you have to start from scratch all over again. The players are most definitely unhappy he’s left and that tells you something, so I don’t go with your logic.
