Trust me there is nothing that can be said to people once they've got their knives out. In a survival situation they'll have a tin opener and we'd have a Swiss army knife.
Actually I bet they're the type of guys that buy 4x4 vehicles to go to the shops in, only to return home complaining about the cost of living.
I have a small Audi a3. And I walk to the shops. It’s better for you. Actually Wilson is the 4x4 an expensive waste of money now he’s getting slower. But yes I would take Ekitike.
We would have Isak Osula and Neave. We will probably buy a new RW who could possibly cover for striker. Wilson ticks the box for a 4th mind.
I would be surprised if we bought him and kept Isak mind but it would be a luxury and the best we could ever hope for. Sadly I think Liverpool want him.
Newcastle will fail to land Guehi and Elanga having already failed with Delap and Mbuemo. The worrying reality could see Newcastle sign Howes 3rd or even 4th choice players before we sign Nickson or Mitchells 1st choices.
If Mitchell picked Elanga out I bet Howe would pick someone else. I'm convinced that's what's going on. We're not going to succeed anyway, so we'll get Howes 3rd or 4th choices and not Nickson or Mitchells 1st.
But how do you know that? It's just more speculation, intended to help stir people up. It's working on some. It's the problem during the close season, people get bored. So have to create 'news'.
Even if we are looking for PL proven players, if £50m is the going rate, I'd rather spend it on Madueke than Elanga.
It's quite amusing sitting back and watching comments develop. We've had 2 years of people crying out for a new RW. Then when we get linked in the same week to Mbeumo, Madueke and Elanga, people say it's lazy recruitment. So who WOULD you like to see at RW? (who is actually feasible to sign - for instance, rule out the likes of Cherki, Raphinha)
That question should be answered by the recruitment team. I think we're expecting to see some discoveries.
