THATS 14 NAMES ...... who might City be considering@ a younger manager from the lower leagues that has shown resilence with even more limited resources than City?
Rob Edwards -job done-get the deal done. Russell Martin another that i would like as our manager. -apparantly Rangers are after him in Scotland. Steve Cooper would be next on my list.
I believe Edwards’ agent approached city when it became common knowledge that Manning was leaving, but before the official announcement was made.
I think Rob Edwards did a brilliant job with Luton when you consider that they played before almost non-existent crowds in what could be dubbed one of the worst football stadiums in the country. Running a club with those kind of criteria is never easy and you can expect a fall from grace quite quickly and now they face life in League One. I can't honestly see that any of Luton's troubles can be pinned on Rob and I see him as a competent manager who would do well for Bristol City but only if he is taken seriously and not pushed around by Junior or Tinnion. Trust your manager to do the job and if you should hire a winner then give them your full support and backing, because the supporters will.
Don't get me wrong I think he's a rising star, but I would have thought he'd have his eyes on a bigger club than ours
You’re not alone on this one. If Danny Rohl never had that 5 million release clause it would have been him for me.
plenty of good options out there,i only hope we dont pee about for a month, then go for the cheap option and give us a load of bs about him being one for the future. i would love to be a fly on the wall in the boardroom or wherever the clan gathers nowadays just to hear how they come to a decision, i can just hear tinnion and little lansdown jnr squeaking about some wonderkid theyve heard about on line somewhere,

dont think so? but looked him up ............ Gerhard Struber said: “Over the course of the season, a marathon is often spoken about that we are running together. How difficult this race is can be seen in the current table. Now, having the finish line in front of our eyes and still being in a good position, the decision is one that hurts. I wish the team and the entire club all the best for the remaining matches.” Werner Wolf thanked Christian Keller and Gerhard Struber for their efforts: “Christian Keller led the club through difficult times in the past three years and played a huge role in the structural and financial strengthening of FC. Gerhard Struber, since arriving in July 2024, has shown great engagement in bringing the team on course and are in the running for promotion. Both deserve our thanks for that.” HARD TO BELIEVE he was sacked when so close to promotion, just a couple/ few games [ ? ] to go! KOLN WON THE DIV 2 TITLE ..... with just 3 games? to go a bit vicious!!!! They were top!!!!!!!!!!!
