hopefully not get beaten every week when it’s not a European match. That’d be a good start.

“Finish top 7 in the league, you’ll never sing that”

I feel way more strongly about this than I thought I would now its happened. I get all the reasons why he’s been sacked but Ange had the stones to dream out loud and then delivered on his promise.

The painful reality is that nothing will really change until the chap hiring and then firing all these failures is gone, but we live in hope.

He delivered on his promise by taking us to the brink of relegation.

It’s funny though that Levy’s job is never under review. If it was, he’d have been sacked 15 times over the last 6-7 years.

He's off to Man Utd for £70m and £250k pw, I'm afraid.

absolutely. But him and Lange can both do one.

just give free reign to Paratici to do what ever he wants, as long as it’s legal. <laugh>

Mentioning Postecoglou in the same sentence as Nicholson and Burkinshaw is an insult to the latter two men, I'm sorry.

No chance. We’ll end up with Kinder Bueno.

If the Frank rumours are true, Lange is the one driving that deal. He is supposed to be very close to and a huge admirer of his fellow Dane.

I honestly don’t know where we go from here. No idea who the best match is for us to be honest.

Until I've heard from the esteemed scholar of the
socio-politics of 1930s Germany, Gary Lineker,
    I am not interested.

I’ve no issue with it to be fair. The game’s about glory (cliche I know) and he brought us some.

I think two things can be equally right though:
A - he was massively out of his depth in this country.
B - he still delivered one of the greatest nights in our history and we can be forever grateful for it.

I think it’s a poor decision…won our first trophy in 17 years and we took the L’s in the league to make that happen with our injuries.

I think we’d likely got top 6 with him, but the ambition will always be top 4 with little care about winning an actual trophy.

it’s where the spreadsheet says all the money is..CL - doesn’t matter about style of play, emotions, culture, etc. (says Levy)

    1. I will probably be dead by then.

    2. Perhaps Keithy will come to be solemnly revered by those
who never saw him at work in the flesh, as my generation
    did for St Nicholson.
