:emoticon-0159-music Johnson again, ole, ole! :emoticon-0159-music
Shaw certainly doesn't want it, so why not?

As I say I'm glad, but it is a factual question and objectively it comes off Shaw and Johnson never got it on target.

I don't deem them as OG, because the player does
not consciously play the ball with head or feet in
response to the attempt of the opposition player.

Kindred to the shot that beats the GK, ball hits the
underside of the bar and then their back to cross the line.

I think it's hard to say whether Johnson's toe touched it on it's way into the net.
I don't think it did, but we'll just save Shaw the embarrassment.

Johnson got just enough on it, I think, as the way it floated after Shaw punched it should have been routine for Onana to save

    ...oh, right

Thing is, he had that coming

Between his absurd timewasting, for example if you watch the final minute of the semi at least half of it is him dicking around with taking a goal kick, and according to Erik Lamela anytime one of our players got within earshot of him he was telling them to give up and they were never going to win

And if you think I'm exaggerating about the timewasting, watch this clip:
0:25 - Onana gets the ball
0:40 - Onana asks for a second hall
0:45 - Onana swaps back to the first ball
0:58 - Onana finally takes the goal kick, falling on his backside as he does so
    1:21 - "Here's Lucas MourAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

It literally took us less time to win the ball and score than it did for him to take a goal kick

Somebody in Croydon whose eardrum is permanently wedged in their sinus cavity no doubt wishes it was...

Just saw this on the BBC feed, is it true?

Antony becomes the first player in history to win two European runners-up medals in one season.

Michael Ballack had a heavily decorated career, but he had two massive runner-up seasons.
2001/02 with Leverkusen, who were 2nd in the Bundesliga and lost the CL and DFB-Pokal finals.
Germany also lost the World Cup Final that summer.

He later joined Chelsea and they had a similar campaign.
Came 2nd in the league and lost the League Cup and Champions League finals.
Germany also lost the Euros in the final to Spain that year.

I don't think that Antony's going to match the rest of Ballack's trophy haul, though! <laugh>

Yeah we're going to need a calm head in the dressing room to avoid the mess about to happen next season .<laugh> <laugh>

Only logical outcome of that scenario I think...

Dear Mods! Can this be moved to the Transfer thread? Posting early on a Sunday morning is never a good idea! <doh>
