Its strange, I worked with a lad who was 18 at the time, he had to go home, difficulty breathing and his lips swelled up, he had developed an allergy to apples!

I got it as a young kid then it stopped when I was around 11 or 12. Great I thought. Then when I was about 40 it came back with a vengeance. So I did the usual stuff with anti histamines. Then around 10 years ago it was so bad I was going to work looking more like the Elephant Man than usual. I went to the doctor who referred me to an allergy specialist. Turns out I’m allergic to grass pollen and dust mites. So I went through three years of monthly injections. And I no longer suffer the effects of the allergies. There is the really odd day when I get the sniffles or itchy eyes but overall the injections have been a godsend.

Yes they were the better side until the var disallowed goal but how much impact did onien have on our game plan. If he didn't go off who's to say who would've been the better team in those opening minutes

I'm at the 'who gives a shiny shyte' stage tbh.

We arrived as the youngest ever team, without a PL appearance, and almost immediately lose a key player.

It was obvious that RLB couldn't believe O'Nien was coming off and hesitated to send on Mepham.

Hume, Cirkin and Ballard clearly rely on O'Nien and so does Neil in my opinion.

We won 'against all odds' but not because of a flukey OG, a dodgy penalty or a goalkeeping howler ...

... we won because we gritted out teeth, refused to give in to a better team, fought hard and scored two excellent goals.

Yes, a great save, determination and wonderful goals ... what's not to admire.

That 0-1 defeat to Bournemouth that finally relegated us from the premier league was horrendous, I sat looking at the empty stands thinking this is almost as bad as Gillingham at Roker Park. Probably only sat there 2 mins but felt like a lifetime. Then the dominos kept falling and before we knew it the whole thing got a whole lot worse than the Gillingham game. Sat in the stands at Wembley with our promotion confirmed I just sat down and drank it all in for a while, being a Sunderland supporter is never easy so when the good times come around I will revel in them. We have won our last 3 at Wembley and debunked a fair few other myths over the last few years under the best ownership in my lifetime, couldnt care if the winner went in off a seagulls arse we are in the premier league on merit and I for one will enjoy every minute of next season because over the last decade its been pretty grim at times, the Sunderland Beach Towel will be displayed proudly on the balcony this year and around the pool, recently it was displayed out of blind loyalty, not this time. Have a great summer everyone coz we are ****in back !!!

As is the tradition on forums I thought I'd find who to pin the blame on for the winning goal, not O'Nien in this case.

There are various candidates, from the keeper to Kieffer, but the real culprit is O'Hare <laugh>

Just before the goal the ball goes upfield and lands between O'Hare and Hume. It's 70/30 in favour of O'Hare but he's seen Hume take out Diaz, like a heat-seeking missile, and actually chickens out. This is the self acclaimed tough guy in a playoff final ...

... having pulled out of that challenge he ran back, got the ball and fired it into Moore, who passed it to Watson <laugh>

I watched it this morning and had tear ups and goosebumps for both goals, Le Fee winning the free kick and the full time whistle. What a game that was.

In Luton's case lots of booze probably, that's a rough one. Almost feel sorry for them.

I'm not really excited about being back in the prem, the league feels corrupted by money and club ownership, but seeing Sunderland progress and be successful is everything.

O'Hare's pass out of play after the Watson goal is hilarious watching it back. You just see thousands of Sheff Utd fans get up and leave:emoticon-0140-rofl:
