It would have been funnier if you had made it a pilot scheme just for Saints games

 

There’s actually stuff about that suggests it might have been happening next season and I know it might happen one terrible day, god forbid

They've been talking about a stripped down (less expensive) version of it for a while. Rumours about it last time we went down too.

Hopefully we get at least next season.

 

Could they bring it in just in the Championship or would it have to be the whole football league?

 

Sure they could if they wanted to. No chance it ever goes in the rest of the EFL.

 

They should bring it it to all levels of football, based on the recordings taken by fans' phones. The ref would have to stop the match, go along the lines of people with phones stood at each side, checking the various angles, to see if a player was offside or not, even if there were no linesmen to run the line. That should speed things up, at all levels.

 

And there would never be another argument about anything that happened during a football match, ever again.

 

If this happened there’d be a not-insignificant portion of fans who’d prefer us to go down to League 1

 

It's been disallowed after VAR intervened for not being in the Championship thread.
