Jordan Houghton has decided to leave Argyle and seek his future elsewhere.

He has refused the new contract offered to him and decided to move on.....no offers are as yet known for his future employment....but now he is in the window lets see what happens.

We are being led to believe that PAFC have a short list of four candidates for the vacant manager/chief coach position.

One name being mentioned is Stephen Robinson St Mirren manager....plus Tom Cleverly, Jack Wilshere and Des Buckingham......interviews will take place next week

Argyle have been quite watertight in recent times regarding the hiring of staff.....I assume that is a good trend to have showing unity

None of these candidates to be honest set the world alight....and their win percentages are not showing league winning will be easy for any of them.....we'll just have to see if the rumour mongers have got their facts straight with these four mentioned candidates.

Hi BC.....lots more will happen before the new season starts.....probably choose our manager next week....the ones that seem to be on the short list are not that inspiring....lets hope there is at least one good one we don't know about.

They should be selling ring-side seats for the Trump v Musk cat fight.....when you become the 51st state of the good old USA...you'll be able to call yourself an American just like Argyles' owner Simon Hallett can.

Not getting too much summer over here at the moment temperature rather low for this time of the year....following on from the driest spring we've had in ages.

I try to keep upto date with what is happening at Home Park....locals take it for granted....us exiles need sometimes to dig for it and pass it on....glad to hear your reading it.

PAFC are in talks with Ryan Hardie regarding a new contract......there had been signs of interest from Wrexham in recent times regarding making a move for Hardie.

A very poor performance from England, admittedly against a determined opposition. Andorra does have only one third of the population of Plymouth though and a third of them are probably tax exiles too…….

Madueke was the only player who produced anything like their club form. And Bellingham I suppose……

What the point was in selecting 35 year old Jordan Henderson and even less 33 year old Dan Burn, I do not know.

Burn has been in good form for Newcastle in the EPL but can you really see him up against one of the top sides in a World Cup semi-final? This was only his second cap. What’s the point in starting an international career at 33? At least Henderson has 80 odd caps behind him.

I fear it’s symptomatic of employing a gun-for-hire manger on an 18 month contract. Short term contract gets a short term outlook.

And of that third....50% are probably female....so a very small quantity to find a team from....but passing around at the back is just negative and none threatening....so easier for them to defend against.....there is always hope at only one nil down....and they did have a glimmer of a chance near the end...it needed a second goal to open the flood gates....but it never looked like coming.....we just didn't have any purposeful penetration......it just showed how they all felt after a long hard season.....more of a mental tiredness than a physical one.

Bellingham seems to be obsessed with telling the referee that he's got it wrong....and is just asking all the time to be booked....he just needs to calm down.....he literally had no defensive duties to do at all last night and still under performed like most of them did.

Conor Hazard picked up a leg injury during N Ireland's 2-1 defeat against Denmark and was replaced at half-time.

With Argyle down to one senior keeper at the moment it is a good job that we're in-between seasons.
