Where has that been said. We need a minimum 3 first team players - RCB, RW and a 2nd CF or a GK.

 

Think it was Luke Edwards who said that we were looking at 2 first team players and 2 prospects, presumably for the first team squad though.

If not then the speed of them being brought in is irrelevant.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have 5 signings completed by now, so we can sit back and enjoy the rest of the window, but I suspect our speed has been hampered by leaving CL to the last day and top players wanting a big payday from a Man Utd, etc.

 

Agreed, rather not rush it but the counter to that is they have to get the players in. RCB, RW starters CF and GK back up/competition will do for me.

 

Jair Cunha looks like a good young CB prospect with decent feet considering his Dan Burn height...

it’s a concern mate. It screams desperation to me. Nothing that’s happening makes me think this summer is going to be anything other than a massive disappointment. Feels like our main objective is to cling on to our better players, then treat that as if it’s some kind of win.

 

Book yourself a nice long summer holiday and turn your wi-fi off mate. Come back in August and celebrate all the signings.
