I've accepted my only chance of getting to any games is to come to home ones!!

 

I know it's not the thread for it but Sheff Wed have been charged by the EFL for not paying players and staff AGAIN. Mess of a club.

 

He’s pond life their owner.

Hope someone buys them, proper, proper club.

 

Decent bunch in Sheffield on both sides. United fans have been very gracious since last weekend and Wednesday fans always have good things to say about us

7pm deadline instead of the usual 11pm for deadline day

Clubs will have until Monday 1st September at 19:00 BST - four hours earlier than previous transfer deadlines - to complete their business and finalise their squad changes.

 

Leeds not even bothering to follow the premier league, they know where they'll be next season.

 

A good mix there, exactly how it should be

 

I thought that was good and I agreed with much of it.

The only thing I’m surprised not many are mentioning in the context of whether any of the promoted sides can buck the trend of the last couple of years is just how many teams are playing in Europe this season and how many extra games that is/could be. Could be an opportunity to pick some extra points - Forest or Palace on a Sunday between a trip to Kazakhstan and a game against a La Liga side could be a favourable fixture for example.
