Yeah, the 'Measure twice, cut once' ethos should be pretty paramount when it's actual live people you're cutting
I’ve no idea who has funding, I didn’t see the piece You’re right though. The Tory Mayor in Tees got some. He’s been tight with the Labour Govt on lots of trials etc so that’s no surprise. I don’t think there’s a Labour Mayor in N Yorks though? David Skaith is the Mayor for N Yorks but he’s a Tory and covers York too.
Good news, my guess that you don't look at your keyboard or screen when typing seems to have validity, law of averages at play. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

It will be cleared by now but earlier today (1ish) another truck managed to hit the bridge on Cleveland St. Got right through but managed to turn his trailer into a convertible. Lazy **** of a driver sat on his arse in the cab while two workers from a nearby business swept up all the wreckage and got the traffic moving
Busy weekend in the city. Hull to Brid classic car run on Sunday, starting from the Humber Bridge apparently. The Hull 10k run, no idea when or where. And if Rovers win there will be a parade on Sunday.
Sunday morning, starting at Craven Park, a route round East Hull including some laps of East Park, as I understand it.
