Midfielder Owen Moxon is a surprise departure for an undisclosed fee to Stockport County. Sorry to see him go!
please log in to view this image Sweden defender Alexander Milosevic has signed for Pompey on a free transfer. The 33-year-old, 6' 4" tall centre-back has joined the Blues on a short-term deal until the end of the season. His arrival as a free agent follows his departure from AIK Stockholm, whom he helped guide to third place in the Allsvenskan, and after Pompey picked up further injuries in their central defensive department. Milosevic’s availability is subject to international clearance. However, if granted, he could be available for Sunday’s visit of Leeds to Fratton Park. As well as representing Sweden nine times, he has enjoyed three spells at Swedish top-flight side AIK, helping them to the league title in 2018. His career also saw him line up for Nottingham Forest 12 times in the Championship, while the 33-year-old has also played for Fenerbache in the Turkish Super Lig and German duo Hannover 96 and SV Damstadt.
Terry Devlin’s excellent Championship form for Pompey has earned him a call-up to the senior Northern Ireland squad. The 21-year-old has been named in manager Michael O’Neill’s 25-man set-up for their forthcoming friendlies against Switzerland and Sweden. The Fratton favourite has been promoted from Tommy Wright’s under-21 ranks and will hope to make his senior debut when the squad gets together later this month.

The 20-year-old has already spent parts of this season on loan at National League South club Tonbridge Angels and National League outfit Wealdstone, making 18 appearances in total. Steward becomes the Red Devils' third emergency goalkeeper to arrive at the Broadfield Stadium in the past month, following seven-day loan moves for Hull City's Timothee Lo-Tutala and Bolton's Luke Hutchinson. With three senior goalkeepers all unavailable to Crawley boss Scott Lindsey, Steward is expected to start against League One champions Birmingham City at St Andrew's on Good Friday.
please log in to view this image Good news from Fratton Park, that Pompey have automatically extended the contract of midfielder Andre Dozzell by at least one further year (still waiting for PFC to confirm the exact date). He has had a decent first season with us, scoring two recent goals. As we are due to lose both Freddie Potts and Isaac Hayden at the seasons end, when they are due to return to their parent clubs, that is one decent bit of news. Sadly, age appears to be catching up with skipper Marlon Pack as well, so the club will need to look at signing at least one or two new central midfielders.
please log in to view this image Pompey along with Charlton, Bolton and Wrexham are interested in signing 20 year old Tomas Galvin from Northern Ireland team Dungannon Swifts. He can play as a striker/winger/attacking midfielder, and has made 70 senior appearances, scoring 17 goals and two assists. Very highly rated, so could be one for the future. Could follow in the footsteps of Terry Devlin who has already made a big impact at Fratton Park, winning his first Northern Irish cap at the age of just 21. Strangely enough Terry started his career at Dungannon Swifts, before joining Glentoran, and then Pompey!
please log in to view this image Pompey are reportedly eyeing a loan move for Crystal Palace’s rising starlet Hindolo Mustapha. The Blues are said to be keen on the attacking midfielder, as they look to a summer of strengthening their squad after securing a place in the Championship this term. The 18-year-old has already made the breakthrough for Sierra Leone, where he has been quick to make a mark at international level. A debut against Chad was followed up with his first international goal - an impressive effort against Zambia as he showcased impressive footwork and strength before rifling home an eye-catching finish. The suggestion is that blend of pace and physical strength has caught the attention of Pompey boss John Mousinho, according to London News Online, who has checked the player out in person.

The Blues are said to be keen on a summer move for the 21-year-old as planning continues ahead of a busy period in the transfer window. That’s according to The Daily Record, who have claimed John Mousinho’s men are looking to pursue a move along with Scottish side Hibernian, where he has been playing on loan for the past one and a half seasons. Sunderland paid £300,000 for the player from Central Coast Mariners in June 2023. He is an Australian under 23 international, born in Australia, and is of Greek descent.
Wonder what the percentage would be if we had a 30k sized Stadium, which given the size of Pompey's catchment área, the club should be doing something to reach this objective.
There is a waiting list of more than 2,000 fans requiring a season ticket at Fratton Park. I reckon they could easily sell out a 30,000 capacity stadium for most home games if they could enlarge the stadium. There is talk of extending the North Stand into the car park behind the stand itself, and increasing it's height. The Milton End despite being recently updated, could possibly be enlarged as well. I do hope the Eisner's do actively look into this, so Pompey can continue to improve.

The player is being watched by a host of clubs in the UK, as well as Greek and American clubs. He is valued at around £4 million, so would be a major investment for PFC if the transfer comes off !
please log in to view this image Pompey strongly linked with a season long loan for 19 year old West Ham midfielder Lewis Orford. He has played twice for the Hammers first team, as well as playing for England up to U19 level. Just under 6' in height, and highly rated by his club. If he is anything as good as Freddie Potts, then he sounds a useful addition.
Arsenal have just released a plethora of players who could reasonable be defines as promising as they are in the late tees early 20 age range. Wonder if Mous is interested in anyvof them.
please log in to view this image Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers are keen on Reading's 6' tall midfielder Charlie Savage this summer. The 22-year-old has spent two years at Reading and racked up nearly a century of appearances since making the move from Manchester United in 2023. Finding form and excelling under Noel Hunt, the Wales international (with two caps)registered the second-most assists in League One last season and became a true fans favourite. Understandably, this has seen him catch the eye of suitors higher up the pyramid. He has made 85 appearances for Reading scoring 8 goals. He is the son of Robbie Savage.
