Thought mepham was out of contract at Bournemouth in the summer or did they exercise the right to extend it? Never seen anything to say they have.

Theres a strong possibility that Jobe is not Premier League ready. Particularly not relegation scrap Premier League ready. If we get a couple of players with the money who are perfectly primed for this coming season, then I think its been the best decision for all parties.

 

I think one thing of note from the retained list is how many players we are not just releasing and getting nothing for, yes there is a lot of excess to leave such as the fringe players and the lads that have been out on loan but at least we will get some sort of fee's for most even if small

 

Yeah played a few positions, I think there's a huge scope for him to develop pretty quickly. Could certainly offer an alternative to what we have.

That’s just insane to me, he’d already shown loads to that point.

 

We aren’t a club designed just to help Jobe though. Like all players they need to adapt to help the team win. It’s their job. I respect him for staying focused on winning event when he was discussing leaving us, but I’m not thanking him for leaving us.
