Town will be buzzing. not seen this level of excitement since the sleep pods were installed at the training ground.
I dunno what Saf's source is but it has to be a joke surely ? RVN was an unmitigated disaster, so what's the remedy, replace him with a manager who's at least a ****e and probably even worse ? They might as well just pluck some random stranger off the street at this point and let him have a crack at the job.
Thought that’s what they did with Ruud? all joking aside, they appear to have a decent youth setup and it would be a great project for a young manager to look at 3-5 years. But they look to be ran by a maniac who wants a big name.
Lesta would be better off letting a young manager develop a younger team and trying to build something like you say over the next 3-5 years. I think they want to try and bounce straight back into the PL, but Gerrard isn't the man for that and even if he managed to get them promoted, they'd sink like a stone again.
Excuse me mate but Stevie G is a title winning manager you know! Which makes him a massive upgrade on rvn And arteta actually
Needs a poll What's better to win as a manager. a cup competition Or A 30 + game league title If you take the view as most of us do In the English league a title trumps a cup all day. So Stevie G >>>>>>>sharteta
Need to personally thank Arsenal and Pinkie for helping us save a bunch of wages for sterling. I don't think Chelsea missed his 0 goals in the league this season
Nah not on Gerrard/arteta but what's better to win as a manager. Jock title or English FA cup. It's not important anyways I'll just take the win.
I'd like to thank them for giving us a nice easy title race after years of being robbed by pgmol and cheat city's minions.
Seems like inter have been taking the city approach to financial doping.... Expell them from Italian football and let them play in China I say. .
Don't be silly Bodders ... ...although I do have a bit of an inside track on the Ruud van Nasalspray situation... ... apparently he's currently back in the Netherlands in a bit of a strop due to a lack of communication from the club hierarchy on his future etc - frankly can't blame him because that's a bit classless IMHO ... almost feels like we're hoping that if we can piss him off enough he might just resign and we can therefore avoid paying him any compensation ... which, of course, will also help financially in terms of the salary negotiations with Jurgen Klopp...
