    It was generally believed that Snakebite was only for lunatics, back in the 80s

    I knew a few places that refused to serve it

    Got one in the West Country once (Wellington?) and the drink was actually congealing as it was being passed to me. I think it may have been related to the local Scrumpy element

    I was a rare indulger as I don’t really like Cider

    Jesters used to do Snakebite n black for £1 a pint back in the noughties. Vomit everywhere.

    During my apprenticeship Stout and cider was a stable. Later in life my ex and her sister would have one or two with a glass of port added.to the mix.
