@Chief what do you think of the signings/potential signings? Cunha is undoubtedly talented but his disciplinary record it's poor and seems to be similar to some bad apples you already have? Fernandez saying no tho Saudi, I think at 30 it would have got rid of someone who again does have a strop now and then for big money that could be used to rebuild. Mbeumo is a quality player at the right age and is exactly what you need imo.
Mbeumo is quality, but if he'll only come for £200kpw, then I'm glad we're not gonna sign him, Isak is on £120kpw, having Mbeumo alongside him on almost double that would be ludicrous. I'm glad we're nowhere near Man U's wage structure, ie Casemiro and Jaydon Sancho on £350kpw and Mason Mount on £250kpw.
Yeah all that is fair enough. Man Utd have been paying too many bang average players ridiculous wages for years. Mason Mount was always a strange signing but to give him that amount of money is just stupid. Still think Sancho could be a top player at the right club. Him and Man U were a bad fit.
