How can the number of people injured in the Liverpool parade incident increase over a week after it happened? Did they find more people at the scene after all this time or did some people suddenly remember where they were and how they got injured over a week ago.
It's the people not badly enough injured to require treatment at the scene, that made their own way to hospital.
I like Gelhardt and thought he did well for us.He's still relatively young and personally I think there's still a bit to come. He's keen, fights for the jersey and doesn't shirk his responsibilities like some others we have. In this day and age 3 or 4 million doesn't get you much but if we had that kind of money to spend and he was available,I'd say yes.Ultimately it won't be down to us though
Kamara isn't a shoo-in and we don't know how Millar and Belloumi will look after their injuries. Personally I think Millar still has something to prove, I seem to remember him being quite quick but the end product wasn't always there. Having said all that I'm not sure about Geldhart either
Dozens are claiming they were in the car and have whiplash. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Obviously he won’t get on as he has no experience of managing in the Championship. Or so some of the experts on here would claim.
Without checking the stats, I'm pretty sure that Gelhardt was almost always in the top 3 of our MOTM threads. He was often the only player we had that would visibly be trying to drive us forward by running at a defender with the ball at his feet. He scored 5 goals for us (2 pens), to finish joint second top scorer with Kamara, and had the highest XG of anyone in our team (TOTAL, not per 90). And he's only 22. If he's willing to come to us, we'd be stupid to not try and get him IMO
Gelhardt bothered the top 3 on 9 occasions in his 20 starts which, at 45%, was a pretty strong performance. For comparison Ivor Pandur - who finished top of the MOTM table overall - had 13 top 3 places in 44 starts meaning he hit the top 3 in 30% of his games. Top of this particular tree though was Charlie Hughes with 15 top 3 finishes in 26 games - an impressive 58% top 3 success rate.
