Jos ph was a real disappointment. At start of last season he looked like he was going to be a real gem but his performances seemed to just taper off as season moved on. Meslier needs to move to kickstart his career. Best of luck to the two of them. Two young lads who I’m sure will have good careers elsewhere and probably somewhere a bit warmer than Leeds
Morning all Pope would be a solid signing but I wouldn't rule out him being used in a part exchange for Trafford. We are going to have to find a long term replacement if we survive a season or two in the PL but at the moment it's needs must, if players are already fearing a relegation fight before the season even starts it could be a long transfer window Echo what Eire has just said about Meslier and Joseph, neither have a long term future here
It's interesting if Newcastle are ready to offload Pope for Trafford... i wonder if they think he's on the slide @33. It's not old for a keeper but he may be on the wane. Pope is a great shot stopper but his distribution sucks. It might hinder our build up play. Flip side is he sweeperkeeps well so does well in a side that plays a high line. Think their will be more attractive propositions on the table for him than us... if we're even after him. It is silly season after all.
