They've always been brilliant with me at Castle Hill no matter which department i've been to. Used to make deliveries there years ago and the amount of new build going on was unreal, it's grown massively over the years, They just need to get a decent car park sorted out for staff and visitors.

Hope everything goes ok on the day mate. :emoticon-0148-yes:

They need to build a multi-storey car park, the parking there's appalling.

I heard they own the land opposite the entrances, if so, why don't they use that for building a car park. It really is summat that's needed there.

What's the public transport situation to and from it?

My local hospital car park is rammed Day&Night,7 days a week...The bus from my area(5 minute walk) used to run to it every half hour,it's now every 2 hrs with the added inconvenience of having to get another bus to get on it,result, cars taking patients instead of buses?

A 10 minute appointment for me can now take 5 or 6 hrs if I bus it.

You can get a bus to Castle Hill from Hull (40 mins), but from where I am, you'd need to get three buses and it takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours depending on what time you travel. It's just over quarter of an hour away by car.

Almost identical in terms of distance, timings etc.

(P.S,and I'm not being nosey here but I realise you have issues with your pancreas.I read this morning that there's a severe shortage of a drug called 'Creon' which is used for pancreatic cancer and I believe Pancreatitis?).Hopefully you're not affected in any way by that pretty dire situation.

They've sold it for housing, a multistory car park is the only real answer. :emoticon-0138-think

That's what I meant mate, a multi storey one but didn't know they'd sold it. Ahhh well, a missed opportunity.

I'm on the stronger Creon, where I'm supposed have 3 before a meal and 2 before a snack, but I've only managed to get these twice in the past six months. Instead I'm having to get the lower strength ones, so need to take 7 before a meal and 5 before a snack and even those haven't been available for the odd month. It's definitely a concern and it's been an issue for months already, I've stopped having them with a snack in case I end up running out completely.
