Not sure if it's a myth but when Cowdrey went out to bat the first time in that series, he went up to Thompson, shook his hand and said " we haven't met, but the name's Cowdrey".... so British I hope it isn't a myth....

Not wrong Steely.... ships operated by Brittany Ferries, under 5 years old, powered by LNG but still in many ways like a normal ferry for cars and freight.... They also operate sailings from Portsmouth to Bilbao and is a cracking way to start a holiday....
You can also fly to Santander from Birmingham for £64 return, avoid being stuck on a boat for ages, and use the savings to hire a car while you are there.
Santander, if you haven’t been, is a lovely town. Great old market converted into food court in which you can assemble a Serrano, chorizo and cheese platter with a very nice bottle of red for very little cash. And of course lots of great tapas.
