he spends a lot of time around Trev. So he can’t be disablist. And you’ve dragged me round the national stadium in Jakarta sweating my bollocks off like a cripple
A final announcement on the clubs decision on the stadium and the plans to follow should be expected at some point in the next few weeks and most definitely before the start of next season
We had a neighbour, twat that he was, when asked how long he still had to go on his restoration of the house (already had been 6 months) claimed just a couple more weeks. 3 years later and it's still nowhere near to being finished.
70k would be bang on the money for now, still think they need to build with an eye on further expansion in the future but 70k would be a sweet spot for right now.
From what I've seen all it really says is that the club is united and they (Rueben Bros) are fully behind the club for the long term. Like you say, seems odd in terms of why / why now? Albeit a positive message, something has obviously sparked it, in terms why the need to state it. Perhaps they are anticipating the aftermath of anything Mitchell states once he gas gone? Perhaps there have been some really major divides behind the scenes.
Be surprising saying as al-hilal have just appointed new manager and that’s what he’s been bumping on about being his role.
To me, it reads like that statement may be more to do with the new stadium rather than anything negative.
